The
Beautiful
In 2037, a mixed-raced cowboy is sent into a 2.2-million-acre, walled-off national park, where no laws exist, to assassinate the leader of a radical faction that threatens the stability of America.
America. 2037.
16 years ago, amid the country's greatest recession, a series of executive orders were passed. The goal — save America from its collapsing economy, failing reputation, and politically polarizing climate.
To oversee the changes, a new agency was formed — the Department of Cultural Affairs & Freedoms (DCAF). Their singular mandate — preserving the true tenets of freedom and the American spirit.
The DCAF's flagship project was the creation of DESTINY PARKS — a conversion of six National Parks into walled-off sanctuaries where anything and everything is legal.
“The national park idea has been nurtured by each succeeding generation of Americans. Today, across our land, the National Park System represents America at its best. Each park contributes to a deeper understanding of the history of the United States and our way of life...”
-George B. Hartzog Jr., NPS Director from 1964-1972
